According to foreign media reports, Dell CFO Brian Gladden recently said that Dell has no intention to buy Acer, Acer does not go beyond fear.
In May this year, the U.S. investment firm Bernstein Research analyst Toni has said that the global PC market for further integration, Dell should be 5.7 billion U.S. dollars to buy Acer.
In this regard, the recent Gladden said in an interview: “We acquired a very small chance of Acer.” Dell will continue to work to enhance the profits rather than market share, although this may lead to Acer in shipments surpass Dell.
Gladden said: “I do not feel the slightest concern that the profits of the sale of Internet access is almost zero, I am not interested. What we need is profit rather than market share.”
Gladden indicated that Dell would consider acquisitions to help expand a number of PC, services, storage and services business, and Dell could help the market has entered a new technology provider.
