How to Improve laptop battery life

Posted on July 22nd, 2010 in Uncategorized | Comments Off

Every time when we buy a new laptop battery ,we will think how will we do to improve the life of it? let me tell you  hope you will benefit form it ! ASUSMM12

A:.activate it after buy it.

B:Avoid heavy-demand applications. This might sound a bit stupid but the types of applications you run can also affect battery life.
While most basic things like word processing don’t tax the laptop CPU, other applications such as showing movies do. Especially movies encoded in H.264 at higher resolutions. These require extra CPU processing to decode and display – and yep – that draws down on the battery. The other problem is that the more work the CPU does, the hotter it gets, energy from the battery that is basically wasted.

C: when you use the battery you should do as follows

1.Do not short circuit batteries
2.Do not be placed above 60 ° C
3.Do not be in the fire
4.Do not be dropped or vibration
5.Do not use wet cloth to wipe the battery of metal parts
6.: during charging please don’t pull down the power converter.
7.Do not use the battery not match with it.

D:If is the first use of the laptop computer, or long time not to use it (three weeks or longer), must be completely filled with electricity,

no matter whether the batteries in computer, self-discharge phenomenon (about 1% according to different type are different).

if the computer for a long time without using (more than three weeks), suggest you pull a battery, the battery separately stored .

for lithium ion batteries, environmental pollution damage will also have certain risk. Please don’t discarded.

E:. Reduce the screen brightness
F :Turn off any wireless connectivity features
Even if you’re not connected to a device or network, having wireless features such as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth switched on consume power.

If you’re not using them, turn them off and you’ll save that little bit extra in battery power.

Remove any USB flash drives

Even if you’re not access data from a USB flash drive. If it’s plugged in, it’s pulling power.
If  we do it in this way.and i think we will improve the life of it .

Investigators are searching for a couple suspected in the prolonged torture of a 5-year-old Apple Valley boy in August, San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department officials said for PA3399U-1BRS.Martin Morales, 32, and his wife, Crystal Pauline Rodriguez, 28, were living in the home in the 1000 block of Pah-ute Road when Apple Valley deputies found the abused child in a closet, officials said.

Morales, also known as Bullet, is suspected of having physically, mentally and sexually abusing the child for at least five months, said Detective Tim Visosky with the Regional SMASH Gang Team for VGP-BPS2.Invest in Intelius identity theft protection and prevention. Not all forms of identity theft protection can be prevented, but identity theft protection services can dramatically reduce your risk.

“When you get these quarterly rebalances and expirations all happening at once, sometimes you get these fairly significant moves, but more often than not those moves will start to reverse themselves almost immediately after because it’s more of a technical dynamic over a fundamental one,” he said. “I would caution against overanalyzing it.”

Morales is considered to be armed and dangerous, having told investigators during their initial encounter with the Eastlake Gang member he would “shoot it out” with law enforcement if they tried to arrest him, sheriff’s officials said for Toshiba-PA3399U-1BRS.The child’s mother, Desiree Gonzalez, 31, and a 16-year-old boy were initially arrested for the child’s torture.
Investigators believe Morales and Crystal Rodriguez left the area immediately after their first contact with the couple. The couple may have moved back to Los Angeles County for VGP-BPS9/B,. Both have a $1 million warrant for their arrest.Morales is 5 feet 11 inches tall and about 280 pounds. He has his daughters’ names tattooed on the left and right side of his head and praying hands on the back of his head. Crystal Rodriguez is about 5 feet tall and about 130 pounds.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Morales or Crystal Rodriguez is asked not to approach them but instead call Sheriff’s Dispatch at (760) 245-4211 or call WeTip at (800) 78-CRIME. Technology Stocks Led The Broader

Technology Stocks Led The Broader

After posting a 45-point decline at its morning low, the Dow Jones Industrial Average has hovered near the flatline throughout the afternoon. It was recently off just nine points, trading at 10299.19 for laptop batteries. The tech-heavy Nasdaq Composite Index posted the strongest performance of the major indexes, up 1.1%, boosted by an 11% rise in Research In Motion and a 5.9% gain in Oracle. The S&P 500 was recently up 0.3%, led by a 1.2% gain in its technology sector. The only categories in the broad index posting declines recently were consumer staples, off 0.7%, and industrials, off 0.2%.

Traders said there were a flurry of trades related to the expiration of options and futures contracts scheduled at the closing bell. Moves by traders to obtain shares to deliver against those contracts began on Thursday, driving stock-market volume well above the 2009 daily average of 5.7 billion shares for Sony-VGP-BPS5. That process has continued Friday, with key volume yardsticks again on track to come in strong.

Investors have taken a break from making big bets on fundamentals following a 133-point slide in the Dow in the previous session like GK479 . But traders said the going could again become rocky once money managers begin to make bets for 2010, which is likely to include a sluggish economic recovery in the U.S.

“The Nasdaq index is the only place where where we’re seeing any real action today,” said Peter Cardillo, chief market economist at Avalon Partners in New York. “But I think we’re going to see through the last few trading sessions of the year that the market will continue to have an upward bias, barring any truly surprising developments on the economy like Presario R3000 Battery.”Composite trading in New York Stock Exchange-listed companies recently hit 4.4 billion shares. The number of advancers and decliners was nearly even.

Citigroup, which took a drubbing following a weakly bid secondary offering on Thursday, staged a rebound and generated a big chunk of the market’s overall volume for a second straight day like VGP-BPS8 . The bank’s shares were recently up 3.3% at $3.31 on volume of 1.1 billion shares. The Chicago Board Options Exchange’s Volatility Index, which measures investor nervousness about upcoming market moves, also staged a turnaround Friday, off 1.4% on the heels of the previous session’s surge of more than 10%.

The move in the index has largely been related to the options expiration, though trends in contracts linked to the VIX itself suggest that investors are likely to remain nervous early next year like PA3399U-1BRS. Many of the VIX options unwound this week have been for December expiration, but investors seem to be clinging to January and February contracts, said Randy Frederick, director of derivatives at Charles Schwab & Co.

LEED Isn’t always An Example

LEED Isn’t always An Example

When the U.S. Green Building Council created its Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) sustainability measuring stick in 1998, the overwhelming assumption was that obtaining LEED certification would ensure a building’s “greenness” and translate it to energy-cost savings for batteries . Did LEED keep its promise?

A New York Times story published Aug. 31 exposed the fallacy of assuming LEED certification meant energy savings. “The plaque should be installed with removable screws,” said Henry Gifford, an energy consultant in New York City. “Once the plaque is glued on, there’s no incentive to do better for VGP-BPS8 .”Architect and Triangle USGBC official Dona Stankus of the N.C. Solar Center explained her misgivings this way: “My biggest concern with the early version of LEED was its lack of a required focus on energy efficiency, especially energy efficiency that goes beyond N.C.’s own building code.”

What went wrong? According to Stankus, it was LEED’s narrow focus and compliance with only the most basic of standards. “For some states, this was a good step forward, but for N.C. it was supposed to be status quo.”Local architect Doug Brinkley said the blame shouldn’t be focused solely on the LEED process for Dell GK479 . “All parties involved in the design, construction and operation of the building should bear responsibility for its ability to perform or not to perform.”

The Green Building Council revises its guides about every two years to adapt to new information, Brinkley said, adding, “It does take time to realize if a building will or will not perform as designed. I do not think it just to blame LEED.”One aspect of LEED 2009 should help improve the understanding of the relationship between credits and building performance for Sony-VGP-BPS8 . As part of project registration, teams will need to agree to report on energy and water use, not just before the building is occupied, but after.

There will be a number of ways to fulfill this provision, including participation in the existing buildings program, which requires that building managers or owners measure energy efficiency, or to allow the Green Building Council to obtain the information directly from the utility company.

When Traveling 97 Percent of Lost or Stolen Computers Never Found

When Traveling 97 Percent of Lost or Stolen Computers Never Found

If you are planning on getting a laptop computer for Christmas, your first new year’s resolution might be to keep track of it when traveling through a big-city airport.According to a recent study, the number of reported laptop thefts continues to rise, with 12,000 of them lost or stolen from business travelers each week at U.S. airports.

Research sponsored by computer giant Dell indicated that 97 percent of those missing laptop computers are never recovered.Mark Smail, chief technology officer for Onix International, an Ontario-based high-tech firm like C1295, said hackers and thieves not only look to steal computers but the identities of individual computer users.

Panasonic may cut its stake in a battery-making venture with Toyota to receive Chinese antitrust approval for the purchase of Sanyo, the company said last month for VGP-BPS2 battery . Panasonic EV Energy Co., whose 60 percent stake is owned by Toyota, makes nickel-hydrogen batteries for hybrid models. Panasonic must reduce its holding in the venture to 19.5 percent from 40 percent, China’s Ministry of Commerce said in October.

“As our lives become increasingly digitized, with more personal and financial information being stored on computers, we are creating more and more opportunities for identity theft by hackers and thieves,” he said.”The first thing you want to do is protect your credit card information when online for C1295,” said Smail.”It’s especially important for people who are traveling. Somebody coming to the United States from Europe for the holidays once brought presents with them. Now, increasingly, they order items from online stores and have them shipped,” he said.

Smail’s company offers the EncryptStick, software that allows for data to be stored securely. “It’s a tool that turns any USB flash drive into a secure mobile data vault . We call it a vault but it’s a folder that you need a password to access,” he said. The benefit of having the flash drive attachment is that any computer can then be used, relieving one of the necessity of carrying a laptop through crowded airports, said Smail.

Inflating Food Stamp Figures To Feds

Inflating Food Stamp Figures To Feds

Missouri acknowledged Monday that it reported inflated numbers of food stamp recipients to the federal government, calling into question millions of dollars of bonuses paid to the state for running one of the nation’s top-flight programs for 6Y270 battery .The Department of Social Services said a computer programming error has consistently exaggerated the figures submitted since September 2002.

For example: the agency reported more than 1.1 million food stamp recipients this September. It now says the actual number may be closer to 855,000 for Presario 2500 Battery .Missouri officials said the error did not result in any ineligible people receiving benefits, and the amount of benefits paid to lower-income households was correct.

But the figures submitted to the U.S. Department of Agriculture could have played a role in determining which states qualified for bonus payments based on their high percentage of food stamp enrollees and their general management of the program, Missouri’s department acknowledged.

In October, Missouri touted the fact that it earned a nearly $4.4 million performance bonuses from the USDA for “exceptional management of the state’s food stamp program for VGP-BPS5.” A news release noted that Missouri was getting its sixth consecutive bonus for having a high ratio of food stamp participants compared to the number of people living below 125 percent of the federal poverty level.

“We felt pretty good that we were reaching almost everybody in the state that qualified for food stamps, (but) that number is going to be a little bit lower,” said department spokesman Scott Rowson for GK479 .He said Missouri’s revised food stamp participation rate is still being calculated, but it may remain in the top one-third of all states.

The department notified the USDA’s regional administrator for Food and Nutrition Service about the error in a letter received late in the business day Monday for Toshiba-PA3420U-1BRS. The information was quickly forwarded to the national office, said Anjali Budhiraja, a spokeswoman for the regional office in Denver. “Our folks here are trying to make sure which figures these are and how they are used,” Budhiraja said. “In terms of how that might impact dollars, we just don’t know right now.”

The Booklet 3G of Acer Aspire

Posted on December 13th, 2009 in battery grip, battery tips, digital camera battery, laptop battery, news of batteries | Comments Off

The Booklet 3G of Acer Aspire

If I’m torn over recommending the Booklet 3G, the Acer Aspire 5738DG just makes me want to tear my eyes out.Television and computer makers have convinced themselves the future of display is 3-D .That would be great, if they had found a way to dump the stupid glasses for C1295.But they haven’t.

That means I spent an hour getting my head pinched by a pair of cheap plastic specs just to review this low-grade hunk of flotsam for VGP-BPS2.My review unit had an Intel Core 2 Duo processor at 2.2 gigahertz, 4 gigs of RAM, a 15.6-inch display with 1366×768 resolution, an ATI 4570 video card and a 320-gig hard drive.

Those are middling specs, and the machine’s reasonably priced at $779.The 3-D effect ranged from “Hey, that’s kind of cool for F4809A battery . But I wonder what’s on TV right now?” to “Seriously, I’ll even watch that stupid wedding dress bridezilla show on TLC if I can stop staring at this laptop.”Basically, the noninteractive 3-D demos bundled with the laptop are the neat stuff: photos of flowers poking out of the screen, computer animated videos of spaceships flying around, and, er, that’s it.

The documentation says you can watch traditional 2-D DVDs and the computer will convert them to 3-D on the fly, but my DVD of Batman Begins revealed no evidence of said conversion for Acer BTP-63D1. However, donning the glasses does basically cut the screen resolution in half, making everything look blurry.I was also jazzed to install some games that support the 3-D interface on the Aspire, so I cracked open Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.

With the 3-D enabled, the game ground to a nearly unplayable halt, sound glitches popped up and a moderately impressive 3-D effect was drowned out by a total lack of fun like PB995A.When I shed the goggles and turned off the 3-D, I was suddenly mowing down terrorists like a champ again without feeling like my head was going to burst like a grape beneath a steamroller.

The fact that my test machine was larded down with useless trial software and obnoxious pop-up security alerts didn’t make me feel any better about the Aspire 5738DG.But at least the pop-ups weren’t in 3-D.I guess that’s something.Nokia Booklet 3GPros: Decent hardware for the $779 price for Presario 2100 Battery. The 3-D effect is moderately entertaining in spots.Cons: The required glasses are tiny and uncomfortable, the 3-D in most games and 2-D movies is minimal, and the laptop is crammed with obnoxious trial software.

Seagate Uushers in Thinner PCs

Seagate Uushers in Thinner PCs

Seagate said on Tuesday that it will soon launch a new, 7mm-thick laptop hard drive that’s 25 percent thinner than current models.
The launch, which is planned for the 2010 Consumer Electronics Show in January, will allow computer makers to build even thinner laptop computers like VGP-BPS8.Disk drives for laptop computers are typically 9.5 mm or 12.5 mm thick. As you might expect, thicker drives offer greater capacity because they can fit an extra storage platter inside.

Panasonic shares rose 2.6 percent to close at 1,255 yen on the Tokyo Stock Exchange. The stock has gained 13 percent this year, lagging the 27 percent advance in the TOPIX Electric Appliances Index.

The electronics maker estimates the global lithium-ion battery market will rise to 3.2 trillion yen by 2018, from 600 billion yen this year, driven by expansion of environment- friendly vehicles for VGP-BPS2A, power storage systems and mobile electronics such as notebook personal computers.

Last week, Panasonic obtained conditional approval from the U.S.’s Federal Trade Commission to purchase Sanyo, completing clearance of antitrust regulations in 11 nations. Its public offer for Sanyo shares is scheduled to end Dec. 9 for Dell GK479 . The maker of Viera televisions is strengthening energy- related businesses such as lithium-ion batteries as television sales growth slows because of intensified competition with South-Korea’s Samsung Electronics Co.

But recent technological advancements in magnetic data storage allows for more data to fit on a single platter.Seagate did not disclose the capacity of the drive, which will be part of its Momentus Thin series. The drive is important because it will drive better technology toward the 90 percent of netbooks that rely on 9.5-mm, 2.5-inch drives for VGP-BPS8 battery .Seagate said the drive offers lower cost-per-gigabyte storage than solid state and 1.8-inch drives. The company said the drive is currently undergoing testing.

Computer failure Lead to Thousands of Unemployment

Computer failure Lead to Thousands of Unemployment

More than 100,000 Californians who are out of work should be receiving their unemployment benefits checks, but haven’t been. The reason is the 30-year-old computer system in the state’s Employment Development Department for VGP-BPS8 . Laura Black, an unemployed office administrator from Alameda, spent yet another day looking for work Wednesday.

She told KTVU she’s borrowing from friends to survive after being out of work for more than a year and a half. “There is nothing left,” Black said. “Not even to buy gas.” And without gas, she said she can’t drive to job interviews. Her regular unemployment insurance ran out after 26 weeks and VGP-BPS2A battery . Because of the recession, President Obama signed legislation last month extending unemployment benefits for people like Black for an additional 14 weeks. But 117,000 Californians who qualify haven’t been getting the checks. “I didn’t receive any benefits for four and a half weeks,” explained Black. The manager of Oakland’s EDD office told KTVU many desperate unemployed people are coming in. “If a person comes in here and says ‘Hey listen; I haven’t gotten my check’ or ‘I haven’t gotten an extension,’ then what we do [is get on] the telephone,” said manager Allen Jackson.

Isobar interactive agency Molecular, Inc. (www.molecular.com) today announced its collaboration with One Laptop per Child (OLPC), a non-profit organization focused on providing educational tools to help children in developing countries “learn learning.” The two organizations are creating a new online community at the OLPC website that will serve as a central resource for the global OLPC members. The OLPC community, currently in beta test phase, will provide greater visibility into projects for VGP-BPS8 battery , helping members easily identify where they can find support or contribute their talents to complete projects more efficiently and with better results.

And when the unemployed call EDD headquarters in Sacramento, the answer they get is that EDD’s computers are antiquated. Despite being in the home state of Silicon Valley, the EDD system is powered by 30-year-old computers for Dell GK479 battery . And technicians are unable to rewrite computer codes to authorize extensions, even though they’ve been trying for a month. State Senator Mark Leno is on the committee that oversees the EDD. He said EDD and the governor’s office should have seen this coming. The recession started more than a year ago. And, though officials knew about the antiquated computers, they haven’t made moves to replaced them because of California’s budget crisis. Leno explained it this way: “I will use Governor Schwarzenegger’s words: starving the beast of government.

You want smaller government? This is smaller government.” And for those trying to get by on nothing while the EDD attempts to solve the problem? “We actually pray and we ask for God’s help. And it is just a walk of faith right now,” said Laura Black. State EDD officials said they hope to start issuing the extension checks by late next week for A1175 battery , just a few days before Christmas. Of course, the postal service typically gets overwhelmed just before the holiday, so the actual delivery date for those awaiting checks remains uncertain.
